RENSHIN KAI association

Our association was founded in 1970 (45th Showa) in Sakai city, Osaka with the aim of creating a place where people could discipline themselves through Iaido; one of old budo (Japanese martial arts) schools, by the late Shinji Aasada (Tenth Hanshi – the highest ranked). He opened Renshin-Kan Do-Jo (traning hall) and taught Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu

By the 1975, it was renamed as “Renshin-kai”(錬信会)and had expanded its active areas into many places not only all over Japan but also overseas, and many young disciples were taught.

Although the master Asada passed away in 1998 (10th Heisei) before he fulfilled his ambition, we have taken over his will and have continued up to now.

In 2008, Renshin-kai was incorporated as “Renshin-kai association(一般社団法人 錬信会)” and since then, our activities have been developing more and more.

Get along, Enjoy and Act seriously.

The innermost secret of Iai is in the sheathed.

This is what Iai is all about:
Neither to be cut nor cut someone,
Blame yourself and see the way evenly.
